Here's the prototype that shows the desired behavior: http://phlsa.github.io/ff-search-suggestion It currently assumes that bug 951624 gets fixed beforehand (for the autoselected dropdown entry). The entry for the search providers should get a frecency bump, so that it is the first selected entry in new profiles.

I added some more clarification to the mockup. It also shows the behavior when actually typing out the entire address now.
