Steps to reproduce:

1. Sync bookmarks from an Android phone to the desktop.
2. Open the Bookmarks sidebar.
3. The bookmarks from the phone now shows up inside a folder called "Mobile Bookmarks".
4. Type in a word that exists in a bookmark in the Mobile Bookmarks folder.


Actual results:

The bookmark is not shown among the search results.


Expected results:

The bookmark should be shown among the search results.

Workaround: type in the search words in the awesome bar. The mobile bookmark is now shown as an option, but not only bookmarks are shown.
I've reproduced this bug using Firefox 27.0 on Android 4.4 (Nexus 7) and Firefox 26.0 on Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit.
As another quick update - I also reproduced the issue in the same way using the latest Nightly build (30.0a1).
