Steps to reproduce:

Create an Event in Mozilla Reps Portal, Update Venue (Point Venue of Event)


Actual results:

A form appears with OpenStreet Maps with Coordinates Below (Longitude,Latitude), unable to edit Coordinates.


Expected results:

User Can edit the coordinates to point where exactly the venue of the event will be

That's indented behavior now that we have geolocation. You think that's bad and if yes why?

its kinda hard to locate the venue via searching, only major cities can be located

Kemuel, you can zoom and click on map to point exactly to the venue location. Then the coordinates field will be updated.

Hi Giorgos! I think what Kemuel meant is that there are venue locations (here in the Philippines) that is not easily pinpointed using the map. It is rather easier to copy and paste the coordinates based on one's previous event (using the same venue location). Thanks!

I agree, we need the ability to edit coordinates, because the search is not very accurate.

Hello. I was about to file a new bug when i found this one, to request this same feature of directly adding geolocation coordinates in the "Point Venue in Map" dialog.
It would be tremendously helpful for Reps to easily add/change venue locations without looking/searching for places in the map.

This sounds nice: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1198615 something like that, would be much more easy if we could search on an adress/venue instead of having to pin point on the map
