962539 - Option for grouping mailbox folders only available in classic "View" menu, but not in the new View menu on the upper right side

Steps to reproduce:

After a fresh Thunderbird installation, I added two mailboxes. They were listed separately from eachother, with their own folders like inbox. Now I wanted to change the mailbox layout so that all inbox folders are grouped together. 

I tried to look for an option in the menu list which appears when you click on the upper right area with the three horizontal bars, but could not find any option for that setting.

Then I pressed the "Alt" key, chose "View" and -TADAA- found the desired option in the subfolder "Folder" (the third entry in the View menu). 



Expected results:

I would expect this option in the "new" menu, too.

As far as I know, there used to be a visual element above the mailbox list where I could change the grouping of the mailbox folders. This also seems to be gone and made me search for the new way of changing the folder layout.

In AppMenu the option is directly on the left side titled "Folders".

If you want back the header with the arrows, you need to write this into the userChrome.css:

#folderPaneHeader {
  display: -moz-box !important;
}

I'll close this bug as WORKSFORME because the menu is available in AppMenu.
