Installed by 'Advanced SystemCare' installer from iobit.com. The add-on only appeared for me after I rebooted my VM, at which point it was enabled without showing about:newaddon.

Looks like a Spigot add-on, like the IObit Apps Toolbar. Just contacted the developer about it.

This is still silently installed by the Vuze installer.

Dan, what can be done to prevent running into this problem regularly? It seems like there are always new installers that are installing this add-on without following our guidelines.

Just got infected by this again, as a silent side-install from the Media Player Codec Pack installer on c|net.
