+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #963776 +++

Installed by 'Advanced SystemCare' installer from iobit.com. The add-on only appeared for me after I rebooted my VM, at which point it was enabled without showing about:newaddon.

Looks like a Spigot add-on, like the IObit Apps Toolbar. Just contacted the developer about it.
The fix for Slick Savings has been released.

This is still silently installed by the Vuze installer, along with several other Spigot add-ons.
The fix for Slick Slavings on Vuze has been released.
Just got infected by this again, as a silent side-install from the Media Player Codec Pack installer on c|net.
The fix has been sent to Media Player Codec, and we are waiting on them to release the update.
