Reproducible on:
- Fx 24.3.0ESR (buildID: 20140128141233)
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0
- latest Nightly (buildID: 20140130030202)
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0
- latest Aurora (buildID: 20140130004003)
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0
- Fx 27RC (buildID: 20140127194636)
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open http://trailers.apple.com
2. Select a trailer that has more than one video (eg http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/summerinfebruary/)
3. Click on the play button and then hover the mouse over the video content
4. Move the mouse outside the video area
Expected results:
The thumbnails and controls are hidden smoothly.
Actual results:
The navigation bar with the related video thumbnails is flickering before it is hidden.
Notes:
1. This issue is not a regression, it reproduces back to Firefox 4.0.
2. On Windows the thumbnails are flickering too, but they are not shown again, nor the video controls (please see bug 928379).
3. Under Ubuntu, the controls and the thumbnails bar are not displayed at all.

This looks more like a site issue. The controls etc. inside and outside of the video are shown, hidden and shown again.
We can check that we send the correct DOM events & events to the plugin though.
