Do you mean the geolocation indicator that appears after you share your location?

If this isn't working, then this is a regression. Can someone confirm this on a Buri device on 1.4?

There is no indicator(icon) on camera preview to show the geolocation state(enabled/disabled).
It can be implemented
It can be implemented with the help of navigator mozSettings.

As I understand it, this bug is about the geolocation icon not appearing on the Camera app's preview screen (where the user can see the camera's live feed to know what they are taking a picture of). If that's the case, this issue reproduces on 02/05/14 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 & 02/04/14 Master (1.4) builds. I can't recall ever seeing it on the camera preview screen to be honest.

However, the geolocation icon does appear in the status bar at the top of the screen (when you navigate back to the Homescreen to view it, or pull down the status bar in the 1.4 builds with the Rocket Bar implemented). With that said, in regards to the duplicate of this bug (bug 968045), I am seeing it reproduce on 02/05/14 1.3 and 02/04/14 Master (1.4), but not on the 02/05/14 1.2 build. The geolocation does not appear in the status bar, at least when navigating to maps.google.com, which seems to be a different issue than this bug.

This bug is raised specifically for camera application to show geolocation icon on camera preview screen(it can be a indicator).
This bug is present in 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 & master.

Sri, this looks like a feature request for camera.
Flags: needinfo?(skasetti)
Yes, this is a new feature request that we had already discussed with the partner.
Mozilla is not planning on implementing this feature due to user experience issues.
Currently we have a way for the user to set geo-location setting at one place.
If partner wants to implement this they can do so on their branch.

Adding Rob to comment more on UX discussions with the partner.

Sri is correct. Mozilla UX has opted not to show a geo-location indicator in the viewfinder for the Mozilla camera.

However, select partners have asked to display a viewfinder indicator while geo-location is on and will be implementing the viewfinder indicator on their own devices. More details are available in the Mozilla and partner UI specs.
