Pre-requisites:
Use a phone with SIM PIN enabled and not inserted PIN

Steps:
1.Slide down the quick menu.
2. Press in "Locked SIM card"

Actual result:
Not open request PIN screen

Expected result:
Open request PIN screen

Thanks for the video Loli. When i look at the video I am not seeing this as a Cost Control issue but more a system issue however I think this bug should block because, provided the PIN code you entered is correct, the user unlocks the SIM but is then informed that the SIM is locked, which effects the perception of the device state and therefore the usage of the device so will nominate for 1.3?

please ni? me again if this is indeed a Cost Control issue that requires UX input

Hi,

The behavior described in comment #0 is the expected one with the current implementation: CC widget won't launch CC app when SIM card is not ready. If we want to change it we would need UX input here. New feature, so removing v1.3? flag. Thanks!

This is an undefined behaviour. We already have a US waiting for UX input to define Cost Control behaviour in non fully ready SIM scenarios such as "Wi-Fi only", "airplane mode", "airplane mode but Wi-Fi enabled" and so on.

The widget specification will be provided in that US as well.

The US is filed under bug 967582.
