967915 - [Flame] Device goes to white screen by toggling on/off button

Flame
build from February 1 (that came with the device)
(Note - not possible to get software version nor logcat from device as the device currently doesn't boot past splash screen:  see 967890 - [Flame] Device doesn't boot past splash screen ).  Previously, the device booted.

STR:
Toggle on/off button

Expected:  If device is asleep, it awakens.   And vice versa.

Actual: Device occasionally goes to white screen.  Filing as separate from 967861 but might be a dupe.

Hi John -

For this kind of white screen issues, did you have SIM card inserted in the phone when the issue happened? If so, could you remove the SIM card and use Flame for a while to see if there is an improvement(happens less) on the white screen issues?

The reason to do this little experiment is Because TCL/T2ME are suspecting that this issue is somehow relevant to camp-on the network. So if they are right, then remove the SIM(or turn on flight mode) should help

SIM card is not installed and we are still seeing white screen.  I think this is the same issue as bug 967882

Turning on Airplane mode causes the device to no longer hang to white.

Hey Vance, since the issue seems to revolve around the wifi and the white screen; do you mind if we consolidate to that one bug?

Going to mark this as a duplicate bug of bug 967882
