A crash on shutdown was fixed in the extention of bug 97770 on Aug. 31st. I believe this is a duplicate. Are you able to reproduce this bug with builds from September?
Hmmm... the stack trace for bug 97770 looks like a problem unloading libraries in xpcom - this stack trace looks like a problem freeing memory in layout. If someone more knowledgeable says it's the same thing, I won't argue, but that wouldn't have been my first guess. This bug wasn't reported in the context of a shutdown.
I see a similar crash on OSX using the following test case: 1)Create anew profile 2)Launch browser, don't do anything except the following: a)Pull down 'View' menu and select 'Apply Theme'-->('Modern' or 'Classic') b)File-->Exit, or Pull down Netscape and select Quit Netscape Actual result: You will crash at exit. The theme does seem to "take" however when you restart. Will attach stack trace from my OSX console.

Bill, any word on this still happening? And what is your hardware configuration? We have seen a crash on quit that occurs mainly on dual-CPU machines that IIRC looks like that last stack trace you posted.

Sorry, missed the last email. This is on a single processor G4/400. I do still see this occasionally, though I'm not getting reliable crashreporter logs for whatever reason from Mozilla. Looking at bug 123587, thread 6 looks similar, though I don't know if that's related or not. There don't appear to be any symbols in thread 0, though on that one, so it's hard to tell.
