Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140127194636
Steps to reproduce:
There are too many spam tweets with the key words, "Mozilla", "FireFox", etc. These are being popped up every now and then, while the AoA volunteers are working. These are irritating and a waste of time.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/army-of-awesome#
Actual results:
These tweets are from various service providers, providing plug-in/add-ons for Fire Fox.
Ex: "Kanye West – Drunk In Love (Remix) | Latest in Hip Hop Music , Mixtapes, Videos, Interviews, Live shows, Eye Candy - Mozilla Firefox..."
Expected results:
The tweets should be spam filtered before appearing on the volunteer's dash board. All the spam tweets cannot be filtered out, but those which are actually easy to do so, like the short, incomplete ones should be filtered out.
This would surely boost the enthusiasm and save time for the contributors.
