xp packages can easy crash the browser on startup.
a external program for uninstallation of xppackages should be part of mozilla to
repair the installation.

Confirming, Having a small app which can do the relevant uninstall when mozilla
cannot be started would be something nice-to-have once uninstall is actually
implemented, hence the dependancy on bug 7884. (sorry if that was the wrong
thing to do)
