Expected results:
WebDav is an IETF open standard protocol to store files in *your* cloud, see ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebDAV and http://www.webdav.org/ ).
There is a famous server implementation in PHP called SabreDav, used in the yet more famous software: Owncloud.
I've imagined that a web storage could be mounted as a new data source in Firefox OS, as the SD Card reader is one of them. With a correct configuration interface, some folders could have a local cache (download all the elements).
This way, the Gaia::Camera app would be able to store the pictures locally in this source and sync them over the network once it will be available.
I forgot an important word: Webdav is a synchronization protocol.
