Implement kinda like iCloud Photo Stream or Google+ Instant Upload for Images and Videos using WebDAV service providers like ownCloud.

For this bug, this one https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=970408 and this one https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=951808 it should be interesting to fill a unique bug relating to add Webdav as a simple data source (as could be the SD card reader), mount it and create a local cache for the selected folders.

In this way, the camera app should be able to save pictures on the Webdav folder and this one would upload the pictures in the online storage automaticaly.
