Since my update to Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.24
Build-Identifikator: 20140203230027 the find bar does no longer work reliably.

If in browser I type something into the find input line with no matches on page
Expected: Sound and red background 
Actual: only sound

Was ok until update (as far as I remember from2.22, but I am not sure)

I found that the bug only occurs with the Modern theme.

On my profiles which use the (current) default theme the red background consistantly works as expected.

Successfully verified in latest available nightlies in Windows as well as Linux.

I believe this is really the same problem as is a part of bug 962910. I can either reproduce all of the symptoms in affected builds or none at all in the non-affected ones with. Same steps to reproduce used.

Reporter or anyone privileged, can you review bug 962910 and consider marking this as duplicate? I'll be posting additional information there.

Seems to work fine  with  German SeaMonkey 2.40a2 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; x64; rv:43.0 from akalla download area)  Gecko/20100101  Firefox/ 43.0  Build 20151010043152, (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit.

I will observe this for a while som more intensive

Tested  for 2 days intensively never ailed, neither Browser nor e-mail-client (Composer). So WFM

Can someone confirm progress?
