Steps to reproduce:

Open many tabs(say 4-5 tabs) in firefox nightly(australis).


Actual results:

Then if i want to closed any tab then i have to click on that tab then close it.


Expected results:

Instead of that, there should be crossed button visible on hovering over that tab, to close that tab.

Hi! This behaviour isn't specific to Australis (current release and beta builds work the same way). Making the close button appear on hover is problematic because it leads to misclicks: you try to select the tab, and inbetween hovering over the tab and clicking, the close button appears (under your mouse, so hard to see) and you accidentally close the tab. That's bad. So we decided a long time ago that we wouldn't do this. There are probably plenty of add-ons on https://addons.mozilla.org that can adjust this, however! :-)
