It would be useful (for the loop project at least) to have a way to identify user devices. I'm thinking about a value derived from the userID and the deviceID. The user device identifier shouldn't be shared accross users nor accross devices. A bit more about our use case: we want a way to identify user devices, because we have one SimplePush connection on each device. The loop server will store these simple push URLs in order to call them later on, but we don't want to have more than one SP URL per user device. If the FxA assertion would contain a user device information, that would help us to do a unique on simplepush URL / user device id!
