Since some people might miss old features, it'd be nice to give indications to users for addons. So the UI Tour should be a good solution.

That said, I think the UI Tour should show off the add-on at first sight. Because we all know lots of us usually skip tours.

SUMO has an article https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-to-make-new-firefox-look-like-old-firefox that covers this. There are links to related SUMO articles at the bottom of the tour page so I think that's pretty good.

Honestly, I never noticed those links while trying out the tour. It should really stand out to the user, instead of being a random link placed in the footer.

IMHO the functionality of Classic Theme Restorer should be built into Firefox. Some of the new Australis limitations really suck. And literally everyone, who tried out the new FF in front of my eyes in our company was shocked. Missing status bar, tabs positions not customizable, bloated tabs, no combinable stop/reload buttons outside of the nav bar, back/forward buttons pinned to the nav bar, stop reload buttons pinned to the right (???) side of the nav bar, etc.

We have some room to spend on non mobile devices. Why not use it and blend in a status bar and things like that. I like my title bar used as a title bar. On my desktop PC I don't need my tabs to be pushed into it.
