I seem to recall somebody mentioning that we should have an umbrella bug that kinda encompasses both the tab and customization changes. This is that bug.
If I remember well Matt N. talked about a meta bug for all Australis change. I file a bug for that if it's useful.

Ok because, Matt wrote about a non-tabs, non-customization metabug IIRC (there is a lot more to do ;-) )
FWIW I've tried to keep track of Australis here : https://firefox-ux.etherpad.mozilla.org/AustralisUX

I can't edit this bug, but I would add bug 676795, bug 727650, bug 776708 and bug 868622 to the list of blockers for now. IMO all in-content stuff is also related to Australis. A list (outdated but still interesting) of all Australis change can be found here : https://etherpad.mozilla.org/OldAustralisOutline • [Visual Design (Australis)] ▪ Overall update for consistent and polished UI with regards to border-radius, margins, padding, spacing, font-size and styling ▪ Specifically: - Tab appearance: Curvy active-tab, no-affordance background-tab - Toolbar button+field style - App tab notifications - Findbar - Sidebars - Menubar - Panels - InContent UI: Add-ons manager, Library Tab, Sync Wizards, Error pages, Phishing pages - Refreshed icons • [Firefox Menu Update] + [UI Customization] ▪ Streamlined panel based menu ▪ Relocation of Firefox Menu ▪ New panel and toolbar customization interface • [LocationBar] ▪ New style ▪ Update Identity Block - Add lock icon for SSL - Remove favicon • [INSTANT! Multi-Search] ▪ Multi-search sidebar ▪ Combine LocationBar and SearchBar • [Add-ons UI Changes] ▪ Removing the add-on bar and relocating add-ons to a section in the toolbar by default ▪ Segment types of add-ons - Panel and one-click actions being the default section - Toolbar and Sidebar add-ons in their own section • [New Tab] ▪ Top-sites grid ▪ Remove LocationBar top-sites arrow • [Site Notifications] ▪ New Style ▪ Allow for multiple notifications/persistent notifications ▪ Resolve lingering inconsistency between bars and panels • [Home Tab] ▪ Home tab with various UI launch points • [Downloads] ▪ Panel based download manager

(In reply to Guillaume C. [:ge3k0s] from comment #6) > IMO all in-content stuff is also related to Australis. No. It is not. Please do not pollute these tracking bugs with random requests.

Please do not pollute these tracking bugs with random > requests. Ok. (I thought so because it was part of the early specs and the list posted above.)

I just saw the latest Australis mockups (http://people.mozilla.com/~shorlander/files/australis-design-specs/australis-design-specs-osx.html, via Fx/Gecko Delivery meeting notes) and have a few comments – where should I post or who should I contact about them? (I just posted the same comment in australis-cust bug where it shouldn't be – sorry about that!)

QA and RelMan are using feature keyword + target milestone for tracking purposes. I'm marking this target for 28, as that is what I heard is the latest goal. But there is no problem changing the target as needed.

Do you think we can add "Many theme updates and fixes" to the Firefox 30 release notes ? There are many small theme fixes that were added in that release.

(In reply to Tim Nguyen [:ntim] from comment #13) > Do you think we can add "Many theme updates and fixes" to the Firefox 30 > release notes ? There are many small theme fixes that were added in that > release. Tim can you find some examples of this in bugs and flag them with relnote-firefox set to ? so we can uncover them when we do feature review next week and update the notes for release?
