+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #973275 +++ I have just learned the translation bar project. Looks like this functionality is machine translation. But some Web sites are offering their own translation and have <link rel="alternate" hreflang="x"> tags. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077 I have implemented the translation bar on www.mozilla.org (Bug 906943) and it uses the link tags to detect available translations of the page. https://blog.mozilla.org/webdev/2013/12/12/improving-mozilla-org-user-experience-for-people-all-over-the-world/ I think Firefox's translation bar can do the same thing, instead of showing users the results of machine translation.
