Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 2014021500 Steps to reproduce: clicked "always load remote content from..." Actual results: A form came up wanting me to add the email sender to an address book Expected results: It should have instead shown the remote content from then on from that sender, as it said.
If the email address was already in one of your address books, then this is bug 589572. If it is not in your address book, then what you are seeing is intended behavior, and not a bug - because content display is controlled by and depends on a setting found in the contact information for the address in your addressbook.

Why does it have to give users the unnecessary extra window to click through? If the user wanted to add the sender to an address book with any other modifications, they would click on the email address itself. Wouldn't it be more user friendly just to silently add it instead like other email clients?

(In reply to ill from comment #2) > Why does it have to give users the unnecessary extra window to click > through? this is not what you wrote in your summary - you wrote "does not work". So what you are really want is a summary of "clicking load remote content should not prompt". That makes this a duplicate.
