We want to know which users have submitted teaching kits

According to Kate, a teaching kit will be marked when the tag "teach" is used on a make. Once we're tracking this, we can mark it as such.

Final decision here seems to be:

- both teaching kits and activities get tagged with "teach"
- teaching kits get tagged with "teaching-kit"
- activities get tagged with "teaching-activity"

- "activity" for activities
- "resource" for resources

Kits definitely count as contributions, but do the other 2 count as contributions?

This is for when users create teaching kits tagged "teach".  We really need to be counting this activity.

Should we also count anything tagged "teach-kit" and "teach-activity", which means a user published something using our teaching kit & activities templates.

iirc: the templates should be dual tagged w/ teach + teach-{kit/activity} otherwise I think we should be else we'll only get old designed kits, OR we should update the tags on the templates.

I understand the webmaker DB a little more than when this bug was filed. This isn't about updating the user model, it's about querying for makes with a particular tag and being able to report on these at a per user level to de-dupe on email address. I've updated the title to reflect this, and taken the bug.

I'll check in on the detail of exact tags in the coming week, but think I have the access required to report on this directly now.

I did the part where we count users submitting featured resources on https://webmaker.org/resources/literacy/weblit-Navigation , adam is doing the part where we count teaching kits in the MakeAPI.

The hesitation on this was that it was easy for someone to click remix and not add any value but still end up counted as a contributor on the dashboard.

However, talking to Michelle on Friday the plan is to issue badges to people who create unique and valuable teaching kits. And getting those onto the dashboard will only take a matter of minutes.

This will add the human filtered level of quality control this task required to keep the contribution counts meaningful.

OK, will resolve then as wontfix and refile in favour of manually counting.
