Developer Tools currently shows an icon and tooltip when a CSS property has an invalid value. It might be worthwhile to extend this concept to warn users about properties that will soon be unprefixed and other code-breaking platform changes. This is similar to but distinct from bug 995474. I can imagine one of these being completed without the other.
