Any idea how much work this will be guys?
I /think/ this would require bug 818922 being addressed (which, as a side effect, would allow to enable dmd on nightlies with some more work)

That would be a fantastic outcome!
Note I might be misremembering. Maybe tracemalloc is standalone enough to not need bug 818922.
Ah no, it's not standalone, libxul needs to call into it for at least trace refcnt.
