And the nominations are...:
bug 32157 [RFE] Title tips (tooltips) for cropped text
(probably the biggest UI *blooper* in mozilla)
bug 62586 Need Titletips (or tooltips) for Cropped Text in Message Header Pane
(what was that subject? - the son of mozilla's biggest blooper)
bug 91662 Long strings in mail header cause scroll bars and attachment window to
disappear, making message unviewable.
(very visible bug - second biggest mozilla blooper)
bug 92380 Context menu in Personal Toolbar incorrect when Sidebar items selected
(have you accidentally deleted an entire *bookmark folder* lately?)
bug 73712 Need Win32 and Linux/GTK icon files for each window
(we need icons, man)
bug 22687 [RFE] PGP Plugin
(e-mail "security", pie-in-the-sky?)
bug 56052 Support PGP in PSM
(long neglected, but much *voted* for)

Nominating the following bugs as they are needed by a major embeddor:
bug 156979 | XBL emulation of marquee as a mozilla extension
bug 156522 | scrollbars should be reflow roots
bug 156943 | CJK text underline is positioned too near the text

Nominating bug 153080 ("[FIX]shrink-to-fit broken ?"). Currently we print many
many pages not correctly (content is cut at the right border because it is too
wide) due this issue...

Suggest bug 155569 | Mozilla invents filename when trying to download a file
with non-english characters be added as stopper for Mozilla1.0.1. This is a
visible issue, that is functionaly different than than the ascii user experince,
as well as IE and 4.x. Last, this would be an issue for a major embeddor who
will be using the 1.0.1 release.

Of the seven bugs I can access, all but bug 159477 are fixed on branch. I am
curious as to whether bug 90757, bug 156452, and bug 157202 are fixed on branch,
or how they are doing.
The timeline is promising 1.0.1 in about two weeks. It looks pretty close to
done, but I can't see.
How about having this bug block bug 161807, make mozilla 1.0.2 not suck

Some excellent suggestions for "popular" bugs (many dupes, CC's or votes) here:

Marking FIXED as 1.0.1 has been released. I assume it does not suck even as the
mysterious bug 90757 is still not fixed ;-)
