1. User Story * As a product owner I want to know how long it takes between the time a user selects the "translate" option and the time Firefox has successfully presented the first translated characters back to the user. 2. Acceptance Criteria * I can view a report that shows me the average and median latency for all users who have attempted to translate content * I can correlate this data with particular translation pairs (e.g, we can measure the average/median time it takes to translate German into Polish)

This, like the other translation data, should be telemetry data but collected as part of the FHR payload/machinery.

Nope, we never added it. I think when we saw that the translation service was in general "fast enough", this became less of a concern, and left for future work. But perhaps it would be good to re-prioritize this to get some data about it.
