Double tapping a date in the far left two columns of the event calendar brings up the times for that date, doulbe tapping the date in any other column automatically opens up to the create an event page.

Repro Steps:
1) Update a Open_C to BuildID: 20140512040203
2) Open the calendar app
3) Double tap any date in the left two left columns
4) Return to month view and double tap on any other column

Actual:
The behavior between double tapping a date in the left two columns is inconsistent with the behavior of double tapping the other dates in other columns.

Expected:
The bahavior is the same no matter which date is double tapped on.

On the latest 1.4 the behavior is consistent. Double tapping a date opens up the create an event page on the selected date.

This bug isn't clear at all about what the problem is.

Can you clarify this a bit better? Maybe a video might help?

Difficult to explain exactly what the bug is so attaching a video to better clarify what is being observed.

This is weird UX, but I don't think I'd block on this mainly because it's a bit of hidden flow.

we have plans to normalize the behavior of double clicks everywhere (see dependencies)

just landed last dependency (Bug 1037351 - Month View double tap), which means this should be considered as fixed.
