Lucy to work with Sabrina to design copy and images for MP certificate. Probably something similar to the front page of this make  but have copy that says "[insert name] have been certified a Maker Party  event host superstar that is dedicated to helping teach the web and  spreading web literacy!" 
Fuzzy to build in Thimble. Lucy/Fuzzy to  organize sharing and remixing for community. Remember, we're looking at  300-500 unqiue event hosts during maker party time frame.

Hey Sabrina! It's beautiful!! The copy you have looks good but can we change the copy beneath the name to read "[insert name] HAS been certified a Maker Party  event host superstar WHO is dedicated to helping teach the web and  spreading web literacy!"... I think that sounds a bit better...I love the title "Certificate of Awesome". Thoughts from anyone else?

Sorry to be a party pooper but I'm going to R- "Certificate of Awesome" as a title. It's not descriptive enough and is an overused word, both in tech and in the Mozilla universe, that we're trying to move away from where possible.

Title suggestion: Champion of the Web

Body Copy: This is to verify that <Your Name Here> is a certified Mozilla Maker Party event host, dedicated to teaching the web and spreading web literacy!

Amira, I'll let you decide on the final title.

Sabrina, can we use an alternate Maker Party graphic in the lower left hand badge space, as that triangle is so similar The Verge's logo.

Also, it would be great to really slap Mozilla branding over this thing, as that will likely be of most value to people receiving the certificate.

Summary below:

* For sections that will need to change on a recipient basis we need to make sure we're using an free/open font.
* For auto-generation it'll make more sense to rely on an SVG and then convert this out to PDF/PNG once the details have been filled in (by a computer, not a human).
* We might want to utilize the simplified design w/ a few hacks for a Thimble make to generate some feedback. Will noodle and discuss this idea in meeting on Tue.

Free today (Friday 16th) for a quick powwow the design too if needed.

Notes from 1:1 sabrina + fuzzy:

* SVG of fancy cert to be used to generate pdf/png for those completing survey after event = best course of action (path of least resistance)
* Simpler design to receive some minor changes for thimble make creation.
* Thimble make to be used in lovebomb fashion to drive quilt input. Mod along the lines of "X issues Y this cert for Z reason".

Some clarification of what the certs are being used for exactly requested from Amira +/ Erika. Who is driving the survey, etc... would also be good to know?

Strategy around the cert idea still a little unclear.

Next steps Fuzzy to work on starting the automation tool for cert generation, which is not fully dependent on responses.

Going to run down dual route path:

* simplified version as thimble lovebomb (anyone - anyone)
* fancy for hosts giving us extra info (mozilla - host)


Next Steps:
* Fuzzy to coordinate w/ Lucy to confirm automation ideas.
* Sabrina to send Fuzzy components of simplified design as .png files to be turned into make (.zip attached to bug?)
* SVG of fancy version to be attached to bug

Coming in late here, but are there also plans for a corresponding Maker Party badge? 

i.e. you get this lovely certificate plus a badge, display-able on your wm.org profile, if you hosted a Maker Party?
