According to bug 984274 comment #228, camera HAL on b2g ICS emulator is unstable and causing test case timeout. I try to destroy camera handle as soon as possible and TBPL looks much stable after applying this patch.

Do we have any plan to make camera HAL on b2g ICS emulator more stable?

Unfortunately no, but I'll file a bug for it. Hope that I or other people have time to resolve it once and for all.
I've filed Bug 1021429 for the camera HAL issue.

Disable gum success case in test_permission_gum_remember.html and re-enable test_sandbox_permission.html.

Try result looks promising but still found one test_permission_gum_remember.html fail out of 42 trials. Need further investigation...

Bug 1022705 has landed the patch for the Camera HAL. Let's see if it can also fix this intermittent failure.

Hi SC -- It looks like the fix for Bug 1022705 didn't fix this intermittent.  Have you had a chance to re-look at this in the last week?

Bug 984274 comment #440 is the solution for bug 984274, bug 1019572, and bug 1023357. After disabling webapp auto update on TBPL we saw a real stable green. @alfredo will wrap up the patch we have in hand.

Yes, disabling webapp update on test harness will definitely fix these bugs. We are still trying other ways to disable webapp update because @fabrice doesn't agree to introduce "webapps.update.enabled" pref.

Comparing to the success log, the failed logs all have huge amount of gralloc error after initializing camera. Not sure if timeout caused by error or by the flood of log message. Will take a look at it.

It should be a emulator only issue so I would like to disable this test one emulator debug build for now. We can take time to fix this issue without keep showing orange on TBPL.
