The scrollbars in responsive view on Win7 are too faint which makes it hard to see if elements cause vertical scrolling. It is much easier to debug on Mac OS. See screenshot attached. I don't have a Linux OS, or other Windows versions installed to check. I think it would be good if the scrollbars on Win7 would be similar visible, as they are on OSX.

Summary: scrollbars too faint on windows → scrollbars too faint

The scrollbars are either faint or very transparent on the alpha channel, but more likely faint when I test for transparency against backgrounds. They're more visible against a solid background, but we need them for busy backgrounds, too, especially when we're designing for viewport widths that haven't been accommodated yet. And some users, who likely include some website designers, may have visual impairments that require that contrast be high, including in scrollbars. One clue to solving this is that standard-design scrollbars appear for a fraction of a second before changing to being faint, so maybe Mac OSX is not allowing the change.

Checked again on Windows and Mac and it is still a bit more faint on Windows, but clearly visible now. It appears to be fixed in the new RDM UI shipped in Firefox 52.

On a black background it is still not visible (tested on Windows 10 + Nightly 57.0a1 2017-08-03). Test case: data:text/html,<style>body{width:200%;height:200%;background:black;}</style> The scroll bar (and probably also the thumb) should be opaque, and hidden when the RDM area is not hovered.
