Adam: With the current landing on Nightly and the blog announcements, we're in kind of a "friends and family" mode, where only those who are close to the project or who happen to stumble across the client are making use of it. And, given its current level of polish, I think that's about right.

the next step we're aiming for is internally promoting use inside Mozilla for everyday communications (bug 1027053). 

The next step (this bug) is readiness for a step-by-step post on a 
major user-facing blog encouraging the general public to download 
nightly and play around with it. The list of things we want to polish 
before we reach that step is somewhat longer, and marked as dependents to this bug.  This is before we hit all our MVP features - more of an appropriate communication point along the way for blogging.

Nightly has long since shipped, although there's a couple of bugs left open, I think they can be/are tracked elsewhere, hence marking as WFM.
