Please create a new DNS entry for 'fxos.cdn.mozilla.net' which points at an AWS CloudFront distribution at 'd2o7ym38nddzuz.cloudfront.net'

This domain will be used to serve static images to FxOS devices.

:mreid - i'd like us to make this cname a little more specific than fxos. would you be okay with us doing fxos-images.cdn.mozilla.net or something similar?

Since we may expand this to more than just images (videos, fonts, audio), my preference would be to have just the generic fxos name, and to stick images into an images/ folder. My understanding was that having only a single CDN name would be better for performance because we don't have to make multiple DNS requests?

For now I would like, fxos.cdn.mozilla.net/images/ unless there is a good reason that this is a bad idea. Thanks for taking care of this guys!

:kgrandon - my only concern with this approach is if this will be the *only* firefoxos cdn used by mozilla? if not, we should make it more specific - at least that's my opinion.

Yes, it should be the only cdn we use. Adding multiple CDNs seems like a waste of infrastructure and process. I will communicate this to the FirefoxOS team to ensure we leverage the same CDN in the future
