feature request would be "rules" for collected address book - example:  
a)
remove address if don't see for X-timeframe, or b) copy to personal abook if see
address X-times.  

Without rulesets, the collected abook becomes a garble of ****.  -GA

additional rule functionality would be:

c) qualify the address for addition to "collected abook".   This has numerous
possiblities.    
c1) insure it's formatted in preferrable way
c2) add / don't add if from X-domain
c3) don't add if no CN (ie. can't extract first / last name) -- thus, can't
serach abook.

definately need some type of expiration rules... -GA

one last note (sorry for thread of conscience) -- 

It's my opinion that "collected abook" should be transient location for
addresses -- not permanent.    The rule-sets I discuss would include
functionality to auto-magically move entries from transient "collected abook" to
permanent "personal abook X".

I disagree -- the duplicate bug lists only excluding domains.  This is a sub-set
of what I describe:   a "rule-set" engine to determine what goes into "collected
abook", including migration of entries from "collected" (ie. transient) to
"personal" abook (ie. permanent). 

It's my opinion entries in "collected" should not remain indefinately.  Also,
the "collected" often enters "****" entries -- where formatting/cn is incorrect.
 I would expect "rule-set" engine to parse/fix/prompt for clarification, etc.

Hello,

98% of what ends up in my "collected addresses" abook are already in one or
another of my other address books. The contents of these should be screened
out.

Also, I see the purpose of a "collected addresses" abook, in the long run,
is to collect them for *filing* into these other address books, so an easy
way to do so should be provided. (Right-click, Move to, List-of-Address-Books)
