Steps to reproduce:

Begin composing a new message.
On keyboard, type Ctrl + + to zoom in (or attempt equivalent View .. Zoom menu function).


Actual results:

Nothing. This was pretty reliable in V 24 - it always worked.

(By contrast, the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + +) did not work in V 24 with Sent or Received messages unless the equivalent View .. Zoom menu function was used first - after that it would work (see: Bug 526288).


Expected results:

Expected text in Compose window to become larger each time the keyboard shortcut (or at least the View menu function) is used.
Fix will be in tb31.1, due in a week.
