I'm still able to get into fastboot, sideload, and recovery mode with this update. I'm looking for a good link to the flame base image in order to recover via fastboot.

Just to mention that I have output of adb logcat in attachment 8484798 [details] in that other bug with I believe same issue.

No wonder given that error:
> E/GeckoConsole( 291): [JavaScript Error: "TypeError: shell is undefined" {file: "chrome://b2g/content/settings.js" line: 101}]

I was able to get back to a working system through fastboot after the base image download (v123.zip) finally finished downloading. Link to the base image is available here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/Flame#Updating_your_Flame%27s_software

Confirming same behavior on my Flame. I updated from the Check For Updates dialogue around 9pm EST and was also put into a bootloop. Like Matej, I had adb/fastboot, but could not get into b2g shell.
