User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; Trident/7.0; .NET4.0E; .NET4.0C; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; rv:11.0) like Gecko Steps to reproduce: I think this started with version 31.1. I mentioned it in bug 225428, but this is a little different. As of a few days ago, I can no longer send email to a list. I type the name in the TO field, and it shows the description. But when I click SEND it says that the address is invalid because it isn't of the form user@host. I can't figure out any way to send to the list (and I've been doing it for a few years). Actual results: Gave error message about not of the form user@host. Expected results: Sent the email to the addresses on the list.
A workaround is to open the addressbook, select the list and hit write. Or edit the list to remove its description, or make it one word only.

Thanks. I think I'd already tried removing the description and it didn't work. However, making it one word works.
