Steps to reproduce:

Went to about Nightly


Actual results:

The "Check for updates" button is blank and non functional (see attached file). This has occurred on the 9/17 and 9/16 Nightlies.


Expected results:

Button should not be blank and when clicked check for an update.

Today I installed the 20140920 build and I'm stuck with another problem, but some days ago I had the "blank button" problem too (OSX Yosemite Public Beta3)

Not just the About window, here it is a blank button (looks like white on very light grey) on the Software Update window. (updating from 20140920 to 21)

FWIF, I have seen the blank button on Aurora on occasion (today). I "fix" it by closing the about window and the reopen it. That it the same "fix" that used to work on Nightly.

Same on Firefox 32.0.2 Windows with multiple profiles (using the standalone profile manager)
I can't prevent Firefox 31 from updating to Firefox 32.0.2

Yesterday build (20140923) updated to 24 build still have the issue so I tried to un-focus the Update window and...text become black.

I forgot to say the text turn back white clicking (focusing) on the window.

Ugh. So this took me 3 re-reading sessions, but comment #0 and comment #5/6 are very, very different.

Just loaded the Nightly of 9/29 and the "Check for updates" button seems to be working. If it updates tomorrow I will mark this resolved.

This appears to be solved.

While this now "works", all update are now "full" (70M+) instead of incremental (<10M).

This is now the case on Mac for Nightly, Aurora and Earlybird.

Is this a workaround?

That is a separate server side bug that just got fixed. You should see partials again in the next day or so.
