From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.78 [en] (Windows NT 5.0; U)
BuildID: 2001101117

When opening a mail folder using IMAP, Mozilla simply says,
"Opening Folder..." When I have a large folder, such as 4000
messages in my Trash, or when I'm doing a search across a whole
bunch of folders, more time is spent waiting for folders to open
then for the actual search to perform, it would be useful to see
the folder name that Mozilla is opening.

So, say something like "Opening Folder..." say "Opening folder
Trash..."

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. In Mail, click on a large email folder and wait.
2. Mozilla just shows "Opening Folder..."

Still in TBird 2.0.0.21. Note that this would be especially helpful in the case a folder is opened during mass-operations such as the downloading of mail for offline or compacting folders - in this case user has no clue which folder is being opened, and it would be nice to have at least "Opening folder XXX..." or even "Opening folder XXX (nn out of nnn)..." to give a better feedback on the progress of the operation.
