We already search by mobile (not by email), but our problem is that currently in each row we show name and company, therefore we can highlight any matching text in the row.

If we search by number, right now you'll see the rows appearing but they don't have any highlight cause we won't display the number (unless the only thing that we have from the contact is the number).

How we can solve this from an UX point of view, how do we indicate that is a phone matching, or an email visually?

Hi Francisco, 

I'm thinking that if users search by name, we display the company name as the second row as what we are doing now. If they are searching by phone number/ Email, we show phone number/ Email as the second row rather than the company name. If the contact has more than one number, we always display the first set of numbers, but it will accordingly change when user keeps inputting more numbers. The rule can also be adopted in the case of displaying matched emails.

Well I think this is outside the scope of the highlighting part, because right now search is not even showing all these other data so we have the chance to highlight it. This is not a fix, but a new feature.
