First of all sorry for the unusual process we're using for this campaign: we've already discussed about it, and we plan to adopt the usual processes for next year campaign (both donation form and snippets), and also involve localizers more in the process.

We need two more localized snippets for this campaign. Can you provide the localization in this bug? Unfortunately it's quite urgent, so the sooner you can provide it the better.

**Variant A:

Mozilla, the non-profit behind Firefox, relies on grants and donations from people like you. 
If everyone reading this donates a few dollars, we can be fully funded for another year.

Quelques notes :
« fondation à but non lucratif » est un pléonasme, une fondation est par définition à but non lucratif.

Je pense que je préfère « Chers utilisateurs de Firefox » à « Chères utilisatrices et chers utilisateurs de Firefox » que je trouve redondant et faussement politiquement correct.

« bénéfices commerciaux » est une notion comptable, pourquoi on garde pas profits ? Là je trouve que c'est un peu se forcer à utiliser autre chose parcequ'en anglais ils utilisent profit alors que ce terme n'est pas anglais à la base.

Est-ce que le formulaire de dons est en dollars pour les francophones ? Il me semble avoir vu un bug sur lequel tu as fait un patch pour rajouter la gestion d'autres monnaies. Si on peut parler de quelques euros à la place, ça serait à mon avis plus efficace pour la majorité de nos utilisateurs qui sont en zone EMEA et où l'euro est soit la monnaie officielle, soit une monnaie plus courante que le dollar.

Pour le formulaire, j'aimerais vraiment que le formulaire Paypal en euros soit utilisé (https://sendto.mozilla.org/page/content/paypal-donate-eur-fr/), mais d'après ce que je comprends de https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1108752#c5 c'est ce formulaire https://sendto.mozilla.org/page/contribute/givenow-seq-fr en dollars qui sera utilisé.

Just checking on whether the translations match the original -- the word "Donate." in english should be like a command, because it's text on a button. Here's a screenshot of what us-en looks like:

Does "Nous comptons sur vous." work in that case? It doesn't seem like a "command" or request, but rather a statement.

I didn't get the button part either (link in the original bug was broken, didn't realize this was the interactive snippet) :-\

Current mozilla.org localization uses "Faire un don", but please wait for a real French speaker to confirm.

An imperative here sends the wrong message. What you want on a button is the action in an infinitive form.
Also, "svp" in a money-related context is borderline rude (either childish or overly dramatic)

It would be much better use "faire un don" like flod suggests. It fits exactly in 12 characters :)
