Steps to reproduce:

I have multiple search engines choices in ver33 the search bar clearly showed which i was using with a fabicon and an name. to change i would get a dropdown list to reset.

in ver34 and now35 i get a bar that just says search and a tiny drop down arrow that when i select, i get an option "change search setting"  that then brings up the preference window.

this is a long winded solution and 2 step backwards from the ease of use of ver 33


Actual results:

is this a planned change from ver 33 to 34 & 34 bought on by yahoo now being default?


Expected results:

should see a fabicon and search engine

These issues are all covered by bugs that are already on file. For the issue of distinguishing which search engine is selected: bug 1102922. For changing the search engine for more than one search at a time, see bug 1109851, which is what I'm marking this as a duplicate of.
