The Privacy Panel App crashed after first start. After first start not reproducible anymore.

This has been mentioned by me at comment #31 and by another user at comment #33 of bug 1111992.

I've installed this build on my Nexus 4:

Thanks for the report.

Can we get a crash stack please? If not, we would need the dmp file and the symbols associated with the build.

Does this make sense? I heard the whole Privacy Panel thing got canceled. :( :(

Ok, I just did read that the Privacy Panel only got disabled by now because of too many open bugs (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1132377). So fixing this bug does make sense. :)

Could you tell me how I can re-enable the Privacy Panel and how I can log / get the crash stack, please?

Maybe Gerry Chang can also help here.

Hi Andre,
You can use engineering build. The privacy control is enabled in engineering build.

If you want to build code by yourself, you need to add MOZ_APPROX_LOCATION=1.

Hrm. It seems like you're Yousef's build. I take it you didn't build yourself...

You can flash https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/b2g/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-nexus-4-eng/ on top and get privacy working.

Then follow https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Phone_guide/Flame/Updating_your_Flame#Updating_your_Flame_to_a_nightly_build from step 4 and on.

Hi Gerry,
Do you also observe this issue at PVT build?
Thanks!
