1145610 - The first option is automatically toggled when the options menu is opened

Steps to reproduce:
1) Click on the performance options button

What happens: The menu opens, the first item is "clicked" and the menu closes. Or in another words: the menu opens under the position of the original click and it consumes the same click event causing the item to toggle

What should happen: The menu opens and I get to click on the item I want to toggle.

The same problem occurs with the "Select what data to display in the timeline" button but the item is only toggled - the menu stays open (as it does when actually clicking in it).
