From bug 1147806, when using b2g simulator there's a path of AppsServices.js displayed as content with the url:
(See image for full path)
file:///...{profile}/fxos_2_2_simulator/B2G.app/..../AppsServices.js
We should filter this out when not display platform data. I suspect this is due to the extension being unpacked.

As the profiler reports back everything, when an addon is unpacked, it looks the same as a local file (therefore, not content) in the performance tool. If we can tag these frames as being an "addon" category, we can group and filter appropriately
Summary: Filter out platform from b2g simulator → Add categorization frames for Addons

Nick, do you know who we can ping regarding adding the category tag to the platform?

Any idea on how to add category information to profiler frames that are from an addon?

This report is related to the old DevTools Profiler.
The Performance panel now points to the new Firefox profiler available at profiler.firefox.com
