Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011212. Show URL either in Statusbar or Tooltip on hover over sidebar bookmark This would be very useful for the user to see where a bookmark is about to take him. Without this, all the user has is the "title" of the BM, which could be misleading. BTW. This bug is a fallout from bug 64307 which was limited to implementing titletips only, and then marked fixed based only on the titletips being fixed.
I think showing the URL in the *statusbar* is much better, since if we show it as a tooltip, it could look pretty funny having both a tooltip and a titletip for a bookmark (i.e., for long BMs that are trunkated).
->Enhancement. Imho, bug 23460 is essentially identical to this one.

No, the other bug specifically mentions mouseover of *menuitem*, this bug specifically mentions mouseover of BM in *sidebar. I've been burned on issues very similar to this. Please let these bugs be fixed separately. If one fixes the other, then great; but let's not risk one getting overlooked because only the specific requirements of only one bug got fixed. (YASSU)
Peter Lairo: You also filed bug 64892 about this. Is there anything different here that means it isn't a duplicate of your own bug?
Oops, I filed that bug 11 months ago and had forgotten about it. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out the (convoluted) query system, which seems to require a degree in abstract illogic (just kiddin'). --> dupeing *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 64892 ***
