Create a landing page at:
https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Mozilla/SeaMonkey/MailNews
We can start by copying the Thunderbird page on DevMo and adapt it for SeaMonkey:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird

We can do so, and the advantage is that users can subscribe easily if they want to contribute.
Disadventages are:
a) There is no "SeaMonkey Zone similar to
<http://www-archive.mozilla.org/mailnews/>, needs to be created with
artwork and so on if that info should be user-friendly
a1) There even is no Thunderbird zone, can we be sure that a Seamonkey Zone
will be accepted?
b) So I currently would prefer to make the SeaMonkey area in the Wiki some more
homely (as a very first step I added a logo, but we should have something much
more distinctive
Has there already been discussion and decision where we should have such documentation. An Alternative also might be <http://www.seamonkey-project.org/>,
but it will be difficult to get editors for that.

It's a wiki. For developers. Setting up a SeaMonkey Zone is fine.

I have access to KaiRo's archive of SeaMonkey artwork. Let me know what you need. But this should not block setting up the pages.

Yes it will be difficult as that site is not wiki driven. Let's start with developer.mozilla.org and not over-think the problem.

I already did some smaller contributions to <https://developer.mozilla.org>, so I can help next week, if nobody does before. I have some more knowledge with Mediawiki, but I am afraid with that wiki I can not help with artwork or so to create some "SeaMonkey corporate Design" with a nice logo like firefox_logo-new.png and similar.

I have started a stub article at:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/SeaMonkey
I just copied the header from:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird
You can help by adapting the rest of the Thunderbird page to SeaMonkey.

Unfortunately I currently can't help transferring information. Half of TB page is definitively unrelated to SM, rest no area where I have skills. And a simpmle copy/past will not help much.
