We are making a lot of changes for the sake of performance in the performance tool -- yet we do not measure any of these. At the very least, we should have an easy way to test locally, bonus points of we can track regressions on Talos. Being a tool dealing with large amounts of data, that can result in 5-10s waits fetching the data, rendering many graphs at once, this is something that we should be quantifying.

Bug 1154874 for general devtools tests in talos. This is for the ability to just run locally while developing for the next month, with ideally landing these tests in Talos via bug 1154874

Now that we replaced the old performance panel by the Firefox Profiler (see Bug 1668219) we're closing bugs related to this. If you see similar issues on the new profiler, please file another bug, and we'll be happy to have a look.
