Bug 1162254 just used the existing icon that we already had in the tree... nothing besides about:passwords should be any different. We can use this bug to update the icon everywhere, but I think we should continue to have a single icon for the sake of simplicity and APK size.
Agree, we should re-use the globe assets (uploaded updated ones in bug 1164715) where possible. These were updated to follow our color palette in our UI. We can use these in the tablet tabs tray, mobile tabs tray, as well as empty state in top site panel tiles, and our UI for our links in list view (bookmarks, history, synced tabs, etc). Can we scale down the same globe asset we're using in bug 1164715 in the list view?
Tried digging some more and can't find out what we originally saw so I'm going to close this one.
