1176755 - Clock auto adjust didn't set to right timezone

Description

STR:
-Take an Aries device with Firefox OS. With a valid SIM
-Make sure the time and timezone are set automatically.
-Put the phone in airplane mode.
-Fly from Montreal (YUL) to Edmonton (YEG)
-Upon landing, set the phone back online by disable airplane mode.

Expected:
-The time auto adjusted from eastern to mountain time (-2 hours)

Observed
-The time auto adjuster from eastern to something else (-1 hour)

Workaround:
-Reboot the phone, the time adjusted properly.

Also I repeated these steps between YEG and Vancouver (YVR) and it auto adjusted to pacific time (-1 hour - -3 total from Montreal time)


I haven't tried to reproduce again.

Other STR:

-flash the phone with a new build (complete with gonk)
-Make sure on FTU that you have wifi to

Observed: 
-Time will be two hours ahead (from Pacific timezone, aka central)
-Rebooting the phone will address the problem.

Expected:
-Time properly set.

Not exactly. It got changed when I landed in Vancouver from Edmonton. The phone had the right time. I'm not sure this is a duplicate of bug 810217.

Ok, I will let the developer decide if it's a bug or not depending on how they fix the issue.  I will mark it at least blocking the bug.

fwiw, still experiencing this with 2.6 (buildid 20151130130150)

For me, problem persisted across reboot. My sequence was:

 - start w/ TZ set to Los Angeles (GMT-0800) as reported in date/time, "auto set"
 - fly to Florida (GMT-0500)
 - Phone reports in TZ -0500 (no city, just offset)
 - phone displays GMT, i.e. local time +5 hr :/
 - reboot didn't change
 - set phone to manual time set, set time zone to New York, correct time appears
 - set phone back to auto time set, correct response continues
 - reboot works "as expected" - auto time still correct
